# Can I leave instructions or notes for my customers?

## Learn how to add custom messages for customers in Catering.

#### Fulfilment instructions

You can add notes that will:

- Appear on the **order summary page** after a customer places their order
- Be included on **Catering order receipts**

This is useful for reminders like:

- *Running late for pickup? Collect your order anytime during trading hours.*
- *Someone else collecting your order? Make sure they have your order number.*

You can configure this by:

- **Bopple Back Office → Store settings → Fulfilment**
- Select **Configure** next to **Catering Pick-up** (or **Catering Delivery**)
- Expand the **Fulfilment instructions** drawer
- Add your **Notes**

#### Announcements on the menu page

You can also use **Announcements** to display key information before a customer orders.

- Announcements appear on the **menu page**
- You can set them up as **carousel or pop-ups**
- Use them for things like pickup instructions, catering policies, or an “About Us” message
