Customising your loyalty program
Learn how to customise your points rate, program name, and reward structure.
🧪 Beta feature – Program customisation and in-store loyalty with Lightspeed are currently available in beta. The default loyalty program is available to all merchants. Register your interest here.
Bopple Loyalty gives you the flexibility to set your own points rate and reward structure. You can customise your program name, how many points customers earn per dollar spent, and the rewards available to them.
Watch the video below to see how it works.
Customising points per dollar spent
Your points rate determines how many points a customer earns for every $1 they spend — the higher the rate, the faster they unlock rewards. Your program name appears as the title of your loyalty program wherever customers see their points and rewards.
- Go to Bopple Back Office → Marketing → Loyalty
- If you haven't enabled loyalty yet, click Get started
- Click Configure next to your program
- Enter a program name and set your points per dollar spent
Use the loyalty calculator to see how your chosen points rate affects the spend required to unlock each reward — so you can find the right balance before you save.
Customising your rewards
You can add new rewards, edit existing ones, or delete them entirely.
- Go to Bopple Back Office → Marketing → Loyalty
- Select a reward to edit, or click Add reward to create a new one
- Set the reward title, points required to redeem, and reward value
- Optionally add a description and image to display to customers
- Choose where the reward can be redeemed (applies to Lightspeed POS only)
Rewards apply to the customer's order total. It's not possible to link a reward to a specific product or category.
💡 Tip: You can match a reward's value to the price of a product to simulate a free item — for example, naming a reward "$5.50 off (Free Coffee)". The discount still comes off the order total, but gives customers a clear, tangible goal to work towards.
Managing loyalty across multiple stores
Your loyalty program can be enabled or disabled per store. To manage this, scroll to the Stores section on the Loyalty page and toggle each store on or off.
We recommend enabling loyalty across all of your stores. A fragmented program — where customers earn points at some venues but not others — creates a confusing experience and undermines the value of the program.
