Why can't customers select anything on the kiosk?

If the kiosk is displaying the ordering screen but customers can’t select anything, start by checking the kiosk’s WiFi connection.

1. Open the kiosk WiFi settings

On the kiosk:

  1. Tap the top-left corner twice.
  2. Tap the bottom-right corner twice.
  3. Enter PIN 5151.
  4. Check the WiFi network the kiosk is connected to.

2. Check the WiFi status

If the kiosk isn't connected, try reconnecting it to your venue's WiFi.

If you see a message such as:

Saved / Access point temporarily full

This means the kiosk is unable to connect to the WiFi access point.

If you see this message, check how many devices are currently using the venue's WiFi. This may include:

  • Phones
  • POS or ordering tablets
  • Delivery tablets
  • Music devices
  • Connected equipment

If possible, disconnect an unnecessary device and try connecting the kiosk again.

3. Refresh the kiosk WiFi

Turn the kiosk WiFi off and back on, then try reconnecting.

If it still shows Access point temporarily full, continue to the next step.

4. Restart the venue internet

Before restarting the router or modem, make sure this won't interrupt customers or other important store systems.

Then:

  1. Locate your router or modem.
  2. Disconnect its power cable.
  3. Wait around 10 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power.
  5. Allow the WiFi network to come back online.
  6. Return to the kiosk and reconnect it to WiFi.

Once the kiosk shows as connected, return to the ordering screen and test it again.

5. Restart the kiosk if needed

If the kiosk is connected to WiFi but still isn't responding correctly:

  1. Locate the power button on the back/right-hand side of the kiosk, around halfway up.
  2. Press and hold the button for approximately 10 seconds.
  3. Allow the kiosk to completely restart.
  4. Place a test order.
