Restricting categories by order type

Control which categories are available for Pickup, Delivery, or Dine-in. Perfect for alcohol restrictions or items that don’t travel well.

Set up

  • Go to Bopple Back Office → Menu → Availability → Categories
  • Select a category
  • Choose Limit to specific order types
  • Tick the order types you want the category available for

Offering Catering? Categories don’t appear automatically. You’ll need to manually select them for Catering Pickup and Catering Delivery.

 

Customer experience

Customers will only see categories for the order type they have selected. 

Example: A customer scans your dine-in QR code in your store. They will only see the categories that are allowed for dine-in (other categories are hidden / not visible).
