      Get started with Google Analytics [GA4]

      Follow these steps to prepare your analytics account and connect it with Bopple.

      Google Analytics is available on white-label web stores only. For more information on white-labels, see here or speak to our team below. 

      Create your Analytics account

      If you already have an account, skip to Creating a Google Analytics 4 property, unless you want to create a separate account for your Bopple web store. 

      1. Go to GA Admin
      2. In the Account column, click Create Account
      3. Provide an account name. Configure the data-sharing settings to control which data you share with Google.
      4. Click Next to add the first property to the account.

      Create a new Google Analytics 4 property

      A property lives within an account, and represents data for one user base. Any data you want to analyse together should be in the same property. 

      To create a property:

      1. Go to GA Admin
      2. In the Property column, click Create Property
      3. Enter a name for the property (e.g. "Burger Bar Web Ordering") and select the reporting time zone and currency. 
      4. Follow the prompts to confirm additional details for your property.
      5. Click Create and (if you are setting up a new account) accept the Analytics Terms of Service and the Data Processing Amendment.

      Add a new data stream

      A data stream lives within a property, and is the source of data from an app or website. Best practice is to have a specific data stream for your white-label web store. 

      To create a data stream:

      1. Go to GA Admin
      2. In the Property column, click Data Streams > Add stream
      3. Click Web to confirm the data stream is being set up for a website (your web ordering store)
      4. Enter the URL of your web store, for example "yourbrand.bopple.app", and a name for the stream, for example "Your Brand (Web Stream)"
      5. Click Create stream

      Connect your white-label to GA

      Get your measurement ID:

      1. Go to GA Admin
      2. In the Property column, click Data Streams
      3. Click on the data stream you created for your white-label web store
      4. In top modal that opens, you can copy your measurement ID in the top right

      Add your measurement ID to your white-label:

      1. Start a live chat below or email us on help@bopple.com 
      2. Confirm your white-label brand name and share your measurement ID
      3. Our team will add the measurement ID to your white-label
