Using Square's Inventory with Bopple

Managing the availability and count of products in your online menu in real-time right from your Square POS

How to set it up?

Square's Inventory can be synced to Bopple by enabling the Sync Item Availability toggle in Bopple.

  • Bopple Back Office ➜ Store settings ➜ Integrations
  • Select Configure next to Square
  • Open Sync settings and enable Sync item availability

How to manage in Square POS?

Setting Inventory in Square

  1. Open the Square POS app and tap More
  2. Select Items ➜ All items
  3. Select your item
  4. Scroll down to the Price and inventory section, and select Manage Stock
  5. Mark your product as Sold out, or Adjust Stock to enter a count
  6. Tap Done then Save

If you don't see manage stock, you have already set a stock amount. You can adjust the stock amount to 0 if you need to mark the product out out of stock.

How it appears online

Any update to you make to product or option availability in your POS is immediately sent to your online store (it can take a few seconds to apply). 

Products

  • Products marked unavailable will appear disabled with a sold out indicator. 
  • If you you have limited the product amount and there are less than 10 available, this will be displayed on the product tile in your menu. 

Modifiers

  • Modifiers marked as unavailable will have a sold out indicator in the online menu

⚠️ Setting a Count on Modifiers

Square currently doesn't support setting a count (i.e. 5 units left) on modifiers. Once a modifier has set as out of stock, it will be marked as sold out on your Bopple's storefront.
