Send a test push notification

Preview a notification on your own device before sending it out to your customers.

Test notifications give you a sneak peek at how your push notification will look to your users. You can check out the message, formatting, and any promo details you want to share. By taking a moment to preview the notification on your device, you'll ensure it hits the right notes and connects with your audience, making your communications even more effective.

How to send a test notification

Follow the steps below to send a test before scheduling your notification

1. Go to Bopple Back Office 
2. In the Notifications page, click + Schedule notification 
3. Add your title and message for the notification
4. In the notification preview area, click Send test 
5. If your account is connected for tests, you'll receive the push straight away

Connecting your account for test notifications

If you already have an account in your app using the same email address you use to access Bopple Back Office, your account should be automatically connected and you will receive test notifications straight away. 

If your account is not already connected, you'll be guided to connect your account before sending a test. 

1. Download your app from the App Store or Google Play
2. Open the app on your phone
3. Login or sign up using the same email you are logged in to Back Office with
4. Click Check connection 
5. Once connected, you'll be able to click Send test
