Why are my Stripe payouts delayed?

This article will help you better understand why your Stripe payouts have been delayed.

📢 If you have successfully received orders from customers via Bopple but are yet to receive a payout from Stripe, there are a couple of potential reasons. 

Waiting period on first payout

🗒️ Typically Stripe's automated payouts occur daily Monday-Friday (more info here), but when you create a new Stripe account and start receiving payments there can be a waiting period before the first payout occurs. 

As seen in Stripe:

The first payout for every new Stripe account is typically paid out 7 days after the first successful payment is received. This waiting period can be up to 14 days for businesses in certain industries. This delay allows Stripe to mitigate some of the risks inherent in providing credit services.
You can confirm your payout schedule and estimated payout timing in your Stripe Dashboard.

📢 Stripe has automated processes in place that trigger account verification checks at different times based on transactional volume and what info has not been verified already. This can happen on any Stripe account, whether it is brand new or established. 

These verification checks can cause your account to be restricted in certain ways, which may involve payouts being disabled on your account.
